Ergonomics, according to the IEA (International Ergonomics Association), is the science that deals with the interaction between the elements of a system (human and other) and the function for which they are designed (as well as the theory, the principles, data and methods that are applied in the design), in order to improve user satisfaction and overall system performance. In practice, it is the science that deals with studying the interaction between individuals and technologies. Therefore, an ergonomic object is a high-quality object, which does not cause discomfort or disturbance to those who use it and can perform its function in the best possible way.
